With over 40 tasting rooms among the nearly 70 wineries, Lodi wine country is the rising star of California wine.  It is quickly becoming the next great wine destination. What most do not know is that Lodi is actually one of the oldest and largest wine growing regions in the country with over 90,000 acres of wine grapes.  

Because of  the Mediterranean climate, with its warm days and cool evening breezes, the region is home to a variety of grapes and rich, full wines. There are wonderful Chardonnays, Viogniers, Barberas, Cabs, delicious Ports, and many more.  With of course, the most famous being Zinfandel, new and old. Some of the “Old Vine” Zins come from vines upwards of 130 years old, producing an intensely flavored fruit.

Each winery in this area has its own unique history and philosophy, which makes for an unforgettable experience at each of them.  The common link between them all…passion.
